DIY Microdermabrasion
Question:

DIY Microdermabrasion
  Hello
has anyone ever tried any of the home microdermabrasion kits...L'oreal, No.7, etc? My skin is dull with a capital D! I'm not sure what's wrong with it - it just needs livened up, evened out and all the pores unblocked. I've read that microdermabrasion is supposed to work wonders for your skin but I can't afford to have it done professionally so I was thinking about treating myself to one of the DIY kits. Has anyone used them before - do they make a difference to your skin?
Thanks guys xx

Answers:

I use the No7 Total Renewal one and really like it. I've never tried any others so I can't do any comparisons sorry.
The No7 Total Renewal isn't a kit, it's just in a squeezy tube like a normal exfoliator, so is really easy to use.
ETA- forgot to say I think it does make a difference to my skin. It evens it out and gets rid of little stubborn dry patches.

I tried the L’Oreal one and wasn’t overly impressed to be honest. I felt it made a slight bit of difference to my skin but for the price I didn’t feel it was worth it.

The best one ever is Philosophy The Great One,your skin glows for days afterwards. It is expensive at £57 but lasts for months.
If you have sensitive skin Origins Modern Friction is good.

Answers:

for the l'oreal dont bother buying the womens kit its over priced
instead u can buy just thge exfoliator ini the mens range - exactly the same but with the addition of one ingredient (i sat and compared the two!) and is less than a fiver and therefore worth the money - i think its fab just as an exfoliator and does perk the skin up but would never buy the womens kit at £15 odd!
