brazilian wax question
Hi just wondering do you get to keep your knickers on as i dont fancy exposing myself to a stranger as im a private person
Suppose you could do, but i dont really think its the 'done thing'. When i first had one done (with a bloke!) the receptionist who took the booking just put me down for a normal wax, and he gave me a paper thong to wear, but halfway through when i realised he wasnt taking enough off i had to take it off, so that he could get every where.
I wouldnt worry about it though, because if you can get over feeling uncomfortable it will be fine, as theyve seen it all before, and at the end of the day its their job!

I have had a hollywood/playboy (which is everything off) in four different beauty salons and each one I have been given a paper g string to wear.
They were still capable of doing it properly.
i have had mine done at a few different places and i have always had to. if you think about what a brazilian actually is it is near impossible to do it if you have your normal pants/thong on. i had the option of a paper thong once and it found it just made the whole experiance last longer as she had to keep moving it out of the way which i found even more embarassing!
but i wouldn't worry like someone already said it is their job, they're proffesional people and will respect you. if at anytime you feel uncomfortable just let them know so you can make an exit without wax stuck to you! although you could have an odd design!!
one thing i would say is make sure they use the type of wax that you don't need cotton strips for. they sort of apply it really thickly then pull of the wax. i have a friend who had a VERY nasty experiance with cotton strips, bad bruising and a brazilian once!!
not sure why it makes such a huge difference but i actually find the wax they use for a brazilian hurts less than the usual think it has something to do with the oil they use.
I kind of agree that it does make it awkward and they do have to pull it around... but personally. I feel it gives me a bit more dignity at least lol...
Like a bit of security to have that paper thing on. :p
