Question:
bruised from waxing
I have just used moom wax on my bikini area and it removed the hair well but has left loads of bruising,i obviously didnt do it the right way although i did follow the instructions. Has anyone been left with bruising from this before and how long did they stay for? Thanks :(

I've had bruising from having my arm pits waxed at beauty college. I remember it was quite tender but the bruising went away quite quickly probably about a week.
I think you can get bruising if you don't hold the skin taut enough. It's quite tricky to get a good hold in the bikini area (what does that sound like :lol: )
If you've gone over the same area more than once it will irritate the skin and if the wax is too hot.
I hope it gets better soon. Have you got any aloe vera gel or arnica gel to soothe it.

Sorry not much to add but hope it goes quickly. Is this the moom sugaring that you used? I wanted to try this when I get paid or TBS sugaring kit, but dont want bruises.

Thanks for the replies,i dont have any aloe vera,but i have sudocrem which seems ok or i could use bio oil maybe that would be good on bruises. It doesnt hurt or anything,just really bruised on areas where i dont think there was really any hair and i kept going over it to try and get the hair next to it if that makes sense?!
It was the moom wax that comes in a pot and is heated in the microwave or hot water and has cotton strip things which can be washed and reused.
I found it quite messy,but easy to clean up and came off the skin really easily with water and the strips washed out really well,i will try it again before i go on hols but will be more careful.
