Question:
Best place for wedding make up
I'm getting married in October and I'm planning to do my own make up on the day. I was thinking of going to one of the dept store counters for a make up trial and then buying stuff to copy the look myself. Any recommendations on the best counter to pick for a natural wedding day look? Was thinking maybe Bobbi Brown?
Try mineral make up. I won't use anything else now. My make up person got me into it as that's what she'll be using ;) It will NOT budge at all. i have sweated through several nights out and a concert with not a shiny patch in my face
I'd recommend MAC.
If you go to the counter they'll be able to try a few looks out on you.
If you take the dress or sample of the material it'll be even better.
Yes MAC has loads of vibrant colours but they also have so many natural looking products as well.
If your in London I'd recommend the Carnaby Street store. They're always so helpful even when I don't buy anything (which is quite rare !! )
Whatever you decide I hope you day goes well & good luck.
Thanks girls, I was worried that Mac might be a bit too wacky colour wise, but I might give them a shot.
AWTF is the make called Bare Mineral? I think my local salon stocks that make so I might book in for a make up session with them too.
my friend went for wedding m-up at mac and they went mental with bright colours!!! beware!
i think if you state what you want before they start and be firm its best!
also brides magazine has a great free cdrom this month with make up tips from a top chanel laydee! xx
