Oh no, What Have I Done?!!
Question:

Oh no, What Have I Done?!!
I woke up on Wednesday (after having lovely clear skin for weeks) with at least 8 *kind of spots but with no heads, just inflamed lumps some big and some tiny under the skin* showing in the 3/4 of my forehead that doesn't have my side fringe across it.
I really panicked as I have a huge day on Sunday, thinking that these (especially the smaller ones) were just going to get bigger and bigger... and look horrendous by Sunday. So.... I squeezed :o :o
I did it 'properly' as explained but obviously, as they didn't have heads I couldn't just gently break them.
I knew they'd look worse for a bit but hoped, having broken them open they'd start healing and diminshing before the weekend iyswim? well they still look burleddy awful - they are still raised and red, some with little pin pricks of blood at the top. :(
Sorry TMI I'm just desperate! I feel terrible!
Please, please, please, make me feel better!

You need to make sure they don't get reinfected or they WILL get worse. Tbh, you'll be struggling to get them gone by the weekend as these sorts of spots usually take their sweet time to disappear
Squeezing them may not have been a good idea as they could scar but it's done now, so I'd just concentrate on helping them heal.
If you can get some pure lavender essential oil (Boots, Holland & Barrett for high street) you could use this to help them heal, but patch-test to make sure you're not sensitive to it first. You could mix it with a little aloe vera gel (H&B) which is soothing and will help the inflammation.
Failing that, get some 5% panoxyl cream from the pharmacy but again, patch test it.
Good luck!

I get these type of spots all the time and only squeeze them if they have a head or are on their way to getting one, lol.
I find once they've been squeezed they more or less gone within a couple of days. I just dab a little neat Dettol onto the spots, which stings a little but it helps them help and also kills any germs.
Dont pile loads of makeup on them otherwise they wont be able to breathe and will take longer to heal.
Fingers crossed they've gone by Sunday :)

Oh no try not to mess with them anymore, mix some salt with warm/hot water and soak a flannel in it and then leave the flannel on your face like a mask, that will help to clean it all and stop infection also will help to draw the spots to a head if u press it firmly against the spots. Also get some sudocrem and use that on them as it is a very good healing cream. Do not pick unless there is a head!
Hope they get better before sunday! xx
