Question:
Avene- cult product?
Have noticed on the makeupalley boards that avene creams get a good rating, especially the retinal type products, namely ystheal, eluage and dianceal. Anyone used these, people are raving about these on there, so just wondered if anyone had tried these and what they thought of them.
I love their face wash. It lathers up really well and makes my skin feel great.
I only ended up buying it because I had one of those vouchers for £5 off certain ranges at Boots and thought I’d give it a try.
Am very tempted to try some of their other products.
i bought their sunscreen the other day,its brilliant in terms of not irritating my skin at all, however it does not mattify like it claims to.Its still v greasy, but i think if u've sensitive skin then its the best bet for that budget.
I have tried and am currently using Avene Gentle Gel Cleanser, the water spray and also the Skin Recovery Cream which is an absolute life saver.
My skin got really bad from using Time Delay wipes; my cheeks were continuously red, dry and irritated. I used the cream for a few days every night, and my skin has really improved!
Overall, my impression on Avene products is fantastic.
I think the range is great, I have used most of the range for dry sensitive skin, the Recovery cream, Trixera, and the Cold Cream Cleanser.
I am also currently using the Ystheal cream at night which is amazing, I cannot recommend it enough. It makes your skin glow and minimises fine lines. Well worth the £21.
