Question:
Inner thighs! Possible TMI!
OK this is a bit random but in the summer when it is hot and i wear skirts etc my legs rub together and i get a bit of a rash. :( I make sure that i always moisturise and dry the area etc so it doesn't aggrevate it but what else can i do? I'm not enourmous but i know i need to lose some fat (hence the many gym visits a week!) but in the meantime any suggestions? I was half thinking of getting a pair of footless tights and cutting them into hotpant type things to wear under skirts (none a that tight so it wouldn't show)
Grrr...
Hi Mooferoo,
You could try putting some baby talc on your inner thighs (being careful not to get it near your "private area!" as this could cause irretation) once you've had a bath/shower and before you go out in a skirt as this will help keep your skin dry and smooth and also talc helps soak up moisture.
I dont think you should use the tights idea because this may cause the rash to get worse as your skin will be rubbing on hot material and won't let air to your legs which is what you need really.
If the rash keeps appearing, the best thing to get rid of it is sudocrem - it works wonders.
Hope this helps,
PL xx
