Question:
Holiday- What do I need?
Hi all :wave:
I've just found out my hol will be in august (my body's in a state though, wah! :()
Anyhoo- I want to get all the 'small bits' this month's payday, then my summer clothes next month.
What do I need beauty wise? Obviously I'll be needing suncream, which one would you recommend? Do they do any firming suncreams, or any ones that add a glow/tan??
Price doesn't really matter as long as it's not too ridiculous!
Errrm, what else would I need?! :think:
Aftersun incase u burn?
~ Suncream (Soltan or Nivea are good choices, SPF 15 at the lowest, waterproof, also a tip is to find one that isn't sticky so if you're on the beach the sand won't stick);
~ Aftersun with aloe vera (the stuff with tan maintainer usually doesn't work as good);
~ Lipbalm with SPF 15 (Nivea also do a good one, or Vaseline);
~ Shampoo & Conditioner that is good for damaged hair (sea water, chlorine & sun will wreck your hair otherwise);
~ Make-up (use as little as possible during the day, and anything during the night so it doesn't make your face get spotty);
~ Cleanser, Toner & Moisturiser (use everytime before you reapply make-up);
~ Take a spritz bottle so you can spray your face with water to cool it down;
~ Also, I found when I was on holiday that as you mainly walk around places, using a firming cream/moisturiser really works, and is even nicer if you keep it in the fridge so after a day of walking about it's nice and refreshing :)
~ Depending on where you're going, take some insect repellent just in case.
Can't think of any more off the top of my head :uzzle:
Babywipes for the beach. Simple facial wipe's for the nights you have too much to drink:lol: :lol:
I take a little pot of Sudocrem for spots/insect bites/ingrown hairs etc and it always comes in handy.
