Help with make up.

I am a complete make up junkie and I have a lot of it. Recently, I've bought a lot of bronzers. They looked really nice in the shop, but when I've tried to re-apply it at home, it doesn't look right.
I have quite light-brown Asian skin and when I put brozer on, I think I look a bit dirty. The bronzers I've got are from Guerlain and Elizabeth Arden. Does anybody have any application tips?
Also, I have really big eyes and I have a lot of eye-liners. How do I apply them without making my eyes look too big?

With bronzer I use a powder brush, making sure there no too much product on it and gently sweep it over where needed.
As I'm a bit lazy I tend to use my MAC foam bronzer more.

To make your eyes look smaller when using eyeliner try it on both top & bottom lashes. I think this only applies with darl colours but I'm sure someone else will know a bit more.
