I hate my nails!
Question:

I hate my nails!
I hate my fingernails. They've just never really recovered from the crap extensions I got when I was 19. They snap and split all the time and it really pisses me off.
I have both Solar Oil, a bottle of almond oil, OPI Nail Envy and Formula 2 by Nailtiques but haven't stuck to any of them long enough to see results!!
Which product should I stick to to see a difference?
I want my old nails back that actually grew properly!!

OK do not dispair. I used to work in a bakery helping pack bread!!! You want to see rough treatment for someone's nails??!!! I tried lots of nail brand stuff with no successs they peeled and broke. Want to know what actually worked? Liz Earle Superbalm!!!! I started rubbing it in three times a day and next thing I had nails you could climb walls with and the shine on them!!!
The thing is we all panic and overload the nails in the hope it will help,so keep it simple.

Pro Strong is supposed to be great for fixing nails that have been damaged by extensions. Its frightening how long your nails take to get over extensions. When I was at college I had beautiful nails, until the 'teacher' insisted that we had to learn the nail extensions on each other!! I was mortified, all the pikey girls in my class with bitten down stumpy nails and dirty hands were elated, I had a row with the teacher woman about not wanting anyone messing with my nails, but in the end I relented as I couldnt pass the course if i didnt (those pikey girls were so rough with the buffers and files ) it has taken years and years to get my nails presentable again.
Though it doesnt sound possible that your nails can be damaged to such a degree, it bloody is!
Anyhoo, major digression there Caramel but I'm feelin your pain!
Give prostrong a whirl, its available on QVC and good old ebay for the bargainous option.

Caramel, I would say stick to the nail envy, I have used this religiously for about 2 years, and it is my holy grail product.
I used to have very weak and I mean VERY weak nails, you could bend them, they were soft like tissues.
I use it all the time, put 2 coats on, then every other day put another coat on then after a week take it off and start again, it doesn't take long, and it's really worth it.
My nails are so strong, and they grow so long quickly now.
How long ago did you have the extentions? My nails took a year to recover from extentions, I will never have them again - don't need to anyway because the nail envy keeps them nice. :)

Got them done when I was 19 and I'm 24 now! They just won't grow properly and 2 have splits going up the nail bed so always split without fail. They look brittle and there are ridges in my nail bed.
I'll stick with the Nail Envy for now. Will start using it today. It makes no sense for me to buy yeta another nail product just yet if you've seen good results with a product I already have.
I'll keep that site in my faves Twinkle and thanks for that Liz Earle rec Donna :)
How long did it take to see a difference Emsie?
