Question:
'Ordinary' mascara??
I read a tip recently that I liked the sound of - concentrate all your mascara efforts on your top lashes, just using a basic mascara on the lower lashes, to look more natural and yet have more of an impact.
I can imagine this might work, and I'd at least like the chance to try it and find out! But a frustrating shopping trip yesterday led me to believe that unless it's volumising-conditioning-lengthening-separating-curling-singing-dancing-divide and conquering, it isn't mascara any more:rolleyes:
So forget the best lengthening/best for volume mascara threads - does anybody know if there's such a thing as an 'ordinary' mascara anywhere?

I think the Miss Sporty ones don't claim to do anything. I love the waterproof one from there.
Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara - it's meant to be for an ultra-natural look, and it's just for adding a hint of colour. It comes in Jet Black and Jet Brown, but is pricey though at £12.50 (I think) - you may not want to spend that kind of money on mascara for just your bottom lashes.
Thanks for the recs. Maybe the thing to do is try it with the Miss Sporty, and if I like the effect but get panda eyes or something, splash out on Clinique.

i used to do this, Don't wear make up that much anymore so i only have 1 mascara.
but i found the Mabybelline one in the pink tube with the green top was good for bottom lashes
