Are These Genuine? (MAC on eBay)
Question:

Are These Genuine? (MAC on eBay)
After reading threads about fake cosmetics on the Bag, I'm being a bit more cautious about what I buy from eBay.
I'm watching a few MAC auctions, but have come across some shades I don't recognise. The first is a Powerpoint in Sagegrass, and the other is an eyeshadow in Chillblue, which is apparently some sort of limited edition. Do these shades exist? They're not on the MAC website.
Thanks.

Hi
I'm not sure whether these 2 shades are fake, although I've just done a search on both Makeup Alley and Makeup Talk - result, 'No Matching Products' or 'Sorry, no matches'.
The ones that I'm almost certain are fakes are:
1. The products that are listed with just a number and/or a colour such as 'bright green' or 'deep brown (all genuine MAC products have a shade name, e.g. Woodwinked or Shockalate).
2. Single eyeshadows that are listed as having a mirror and applicator.
I'm also very wary of a seller that suddenly has a lot of MAC items to sell at the same time. It makes me wonder where they've got them all from!

Thanks for looking.
I know about the number thing, and neither of the items have been given numbers, they both have names. Also the eyeshadow looks to be legit, in all the proper packaging, with no mentions of mirrors or applicators.
No mention on those sites makes me very wary though. Shame, because they're both nice colours!

I can't tell you if they're fakes or not but I know that the Powerpoint in Sagegrass exists 'cos I've got one! (purchased at an airport MAC outlet so I'm pretty sure its real;) ). Also Chillblue (MAC lustrevision) is mentioned a few times on MUA, so it does exist as a shade. Ebay is a minefield isn't it!!!

Ahh! Fab. Thanks for that, I shall be bidding on them then!
