Question:
Can anyone reccie a good make-up book?
I'm reasonably confident with my make-up but while I'm recuperating from an operation, I just fancied experimenting a little and getting some new ideas. So can anyone reccie me a good make-up book? A friend suggested ?this to me a while ago; anyone know if it's any good or have any other suggestions?
I know there was a thread about this a while ago, but I can't find it!
Cheers!

If you're looking for a good book that covers all the techniques from an absolute pro and one of the best the industry had to offer, then you couldn't go wrong with something by the sadly departed Kevyn Aucoin. He was responsible for all the huge catwalk shows featuring the top supermodels and he appeared in the episode of Sex and the City where Carrie fell over on the catwalk.
Makeup Your Mind by Francois Nars would be a good bet too aswell as that Vogue one your friend suggested which has tips and tricks from people such as Stilas Jeanine Lobell.
Cheers, Weenie! Both those sound good as well. Hmmm, decisions, decisions! :D

Your welcome :D Not sure I'd know which one to choose though but the Vogue one seems like tips more than anything with Nars and Kevyn Aucoin mentions too!
I totally recommend Kevyn Aucoinīs Making Faces, itīs a great book!
I have it and it explains very well everything and coverīs lots of looks. ;)
