Question:
Which MAC concealer is best for under eye dark circles?
It was so busy at the counter yesterday I waited ages and still didn't get to ask!
I currently use a Boots No& pen one but, like my 2 previous Touche Eclats, it has now acquired that weird smell other baggers have complained about!
I want something really good for under my eyes. And also re. colour, am I right that I should be aiming to go a bit lighter than my foundation shade? I'm NW20 in the StudioFix.
I used to like the Select cover up one here:
http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/templa...T_ID=PROD66065
but find it's a bit heavy for the undereye area now and is creasing a lot.
I want to try this one, and may get it tomorrow:

It's specifically recommended for the undereye are and sounds like it is a light texture.
ooh thanks!
I'm really torn because I've been using quite a like 'liquid' type one for a while but it just doesn't seem to last the day.
But the studio fix one looks a bit more heavy-duty and like it would conceal better. But I really don't like the 'caking' effect' Also it seems that if you put something too heavy duty on the delicate eye area it ends up emphasising any fine lines you might have. I'm wondering if this might work but only applying a tenny-tiny amount with a brush?
decisions, decisions...

PB this is EXACTLY what I find with the Select one atm. I can't imagine the Studio Fix ones being better, because this one is liquidy and lighter than those ones anyway. But it may be different on you and on others, I have fairly dry skin and clearly need something more moisturising.
Maybe a MAC one won't be best after all then.
I'm actually also considering the Benefit 'Boing' one as well. I already have a small one as part of the 'revealness of concealness' set but it's too dark for me. The texture is nice though. The SA put it on me with a concealer brush and it looked good. I'm just been using my fingers which doesn't really work
It's a solid concealer but I would say the texture is not as 'thick' as the studio fix one seems to be.
