Sudocrem Virgin
Question:

Sudocrem Virgin
Ive just purchased my first pot of sudocrem to use on spots. How often do I apply it. Is it normal for it to stay white and not really absorb? Is it really harsh? Any other uses for it?
:thanks:

Mine never really seems to absorb totally into my skin however much I rub it in which is why I only put it on at night & then wash it off in the morning. I only use it on really bad spots as it dries them out & if I use it too often or too much of it my skin gets really flaky so use it sparingly. I wouldn't advise using it during the day unless you're staying in cos it makes your skin look a bit grey looking especially if you apply makeup over the top of it. And don't forget to wash it off in the morning if you use it at night! :)
I wouldn't say it's really harsh, after all, it's used on babies for nappy rash so I wouldn't have thought it could be too strong. On the tub it says it can be used for nappy rash, eczema, bed sores, sunburn, minor burns, surface wounds, acne & chilblains but I don't know of any other uses.

Yes it's normal to have big white blobs on your face! I put loads on, the more the better! I sometimes put a plaster over it if it's in an area that's likely to get rubbed off by my pillow!
Lisa I don't think it makes my skin dry at all! I use it on my chin and nose and any blemishes every night, if anything I find it moisturises!

Well my skin is a bit overly sensitive so that might be why it dries it out! :) I did think it was a bit weird as I thought it was supposed to be very gentle cos it's used on babies but my skin reacts to even the mildest of products so that's probably the reason. If your skin's quite tough then I guess it'd be alright but with mine I have to be extremely careful with the products I use.
