Question:
Recommend me a lip balm please
Hi there
I currently use vaseline all the time as I have very sensitive skin on my mouth - can anyone recommend a lip balm that won't irritate but tastes / works better than vaseline???
The only thing that makes my lips nice & soft is mint Lypsyl. :) It tingles a bit when you first put it on but not in a bad way, as if you'd just eaten a mint! :D You can get them in different flavours but the mint one's the only one that works for me. My lips are sensitive too - Carmex & Blistex both made my lips really dry & I think I must've been allergic to them because my lips swelled up!

whipstick by lush- smells like terrys chocolate orange- and is long lasting yummy!
MAC Tinted balm is doing a good job on my lips at the mo, smells delish too!
Vaseline or any petroleum based products are supposed to be bad for your lips as the skin is quite sensitive and you or rather your lips can become addicted to it, so you end up in a vicious cycle where the more you use it the more you need and if you stop then you probably notice that the condition of your lips deteriorates quite quickly.
I recommend lush lip balms as they smell and taste yummy and although a little bit pricer they last for ages, I have tried: honey trap which is amongst other things honey and white chocolate based and I am currently using, lite lip which marshmallow and apricot based.
