skin care on holiday
Question:

skin care on holiday
I am going on holiday soon hurrah, and was wondering about my skin care routine on holiday (not been on holiday for 5 years!)
I am fair and burn very easily so I am gonna be using the highest spf sun spray there is - but does this stop me tanning completley? 'Cos I want to go brown, just don't want to burn!
I use the tanning body lotions that are avaliable (about to try the new nivea one!) should I stop using them on holdiday? Should I replace my normal night body moiusturiser with an aftersun one?

Answers:

As long as ur normal lotion has a fair bit of aloe vera in then u should be ok. Or opt for after sun with insect repellent if u want that ;)

Answers:

RE tanning lotions, its fine to use on hol (but obv so protect u from burning) just be weary of streaking in chlorine, this sometimes happens.
Also, u mentioned ur going to use a high SPF "spray". If u burn easliy, a lotion would be better than a spray as it is thicker xx

Thanks, I didn't know that lotions were better than sprays. Learn something new every day! I use the nivea rice and lotus body lotion, so dunno if that's any good, but I'll just carry on with that, after sun is a bit icky, will just put that on if I am in pain I think.
Thanks.

Answers:

Theyre not exactly "better", just thicker. Its just my view that they give more protection from the sun than sprays, from past expereince, even if they have the same SPF. I also think I need to reapply spray more often, it wears off really quick.;)
