Question:
Do you wash foundation brush after every use?
Title says it all really.....I've done a search and there are loads of threads about foundation brushes, but I can't find a definitive answer to this question.
I just got a Mac foundation brush and can't believe I didn't discover foundation brushes before now :o The difference is amazing.
Anyway.....I'm just wondering if you need to clean it after every single use, or every few times?

Every few times. I can't be assed (don't have the time) to wash mine every day.
Do any of you use your MAC brush for liquid foundations too(Soz for hijack!)
I only use mine with Studio Fix.
yes! i use my foundation brush with all my liquid foundations.
i wash my brush about once a week/fortnight, depending on how much ive worn foundation that week etc. if you wash it too regularly it will damage the brush, but i hate it when its ready for a wash, it goes all streaky!
A lazy but expensive option is to use cleansing wipes to clean the brush each day, theyre less damaging but get most of the foundation out.

Good idea about using cleansing wipes too :think:
I use Benefit You Rebel tinted moisturiser as I hardly ever wear full on foundation........its kind of creamy rather than liquid, and works fine :cool:

I have also just discovered foundation brushes and I love the effect ! I was also wondering how often to clean the brush, so am glad you started this thead SS.
Most people on here say they use less foundation when using a brush but I seem to be using more, need more practise methinks !
