pale makeup
  Hi
I use pale foundation and powders in the winter until the fake tan comes out! ;)
This is what I use:
Foundations:
Loreal Colour stay in 01 Ivory
Avon Perfect wear (spf 10) in Nude
No 7 Uplifting Foundation (spf 15) in 10 New Ivory
I have just bought the No 7 as I had one of the £5 vouchers from Boots and it's really nice.
I have tried loads of powders but the only ones I really like and keep going back to are Cornsilk Original satin loose powder in transluscant and Clinique Gentle light powder in 03 glow which are both really nice and light, the Clinique has light reflecting particles in it so it is really nice, hope that helps :)

I am very pale. I use Prescriptives Virtual Skin, which is one of the few ranges that goes pale enough for me. I went to a counter and the SA colour matched me to a foundation. It matches my skin perfectly :) I wanted to try Chanel Pro Lumiere but even the lightest shade was way too dark for my skin :(
ETA I use MAC select tint (?) as well, which has shades light enough for me. I'm liking this a lot atm, as it's more translucent than Virtual Skin. The latter tends to give quite a matt base.
HTH.
