Question:
Face Powder Recs?
I'm back, seeking advice from my fellow baggers! :D
My problem is this: I need a new face powder. However, my skin could appear in the Ariel ads for "whitest white". Seriously, it's very, very pale. I'm quite healthy (I think) and I do go outdoors a lot , so I think it's pretty natural! As far as the undertones go, I'm not sure because it's so light, but the skin on my body seems to have a yellow undertone. I think my face has either yellow or pink undertones depending on how the light hits it
Basically I can't wear foundation, as they either look like I've been tangoed or they make me look like I've had an allergic reaction and gone all pink! (My skin is quite dry but not very sensitive, and it's rare that I get any kind of reaction to products.)
Anyway, sorry about the long intro! :D I need a new face powder. My current one is some crappy Rimmel loose powder that I dug out of a drawer after my No. 7 compact started sucking all the moisture out of my face. As I said earlier, I very rarely wear foundation as I have yet to find a colour that suits me, so I use powder to even out my complexion and enhance the "pale and interesting" (I hope!) look. I use a big poofy brush to apply powder, although I could use a new brush as well!
My question is this: I need some recs for loose powder that a) comes in lots of different shades, preferably very light ones, b) actually stays on for longer than 30 seconds, and c) covers up without drying out!
Sorry it's a lot to ask, girls ;)

I have two recommendations.
Mac or Laura Mercier. Both can be found in Selfridges, London.
Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser would be great as it is really light and is SPF20. Perfect for the summer.
Mac has a loose sheer powder which goes on the skin lightly without caking and suffocating you. I would try both the se products. Plus MAC cater for all skin shades.
T. LeClerc do a huge range of powders (I think they have about 20 shades) and they seem to last for ever - I've had mine for ages it doesn't seem to go down!
I second the T. leClerc rec ( Happybunny). Their range also comes pressed is you need something portable.
