Question:
Eyeshadows, smokey eyes & colours
I am getting gored with my makeup, i need to experiment, with colours i always wear white on my eyelids and the tops with then brown in the creases, not that you can really notice it!!
Id love to be able to wear different colours like pinks/purples/greens etc to go with the colour top that i have got on, but i worry that they dont suite me, Id also like to have smokey eyes, but again im not sure how to acheive this without looking like i have been punched in the eyes i lok like i have balck eyes this would be good for going out in the evenings
When you put on eyeshadow, do you just put it on your eyelids or on the whole eye?? how do i acheive that smokey look

unfortunately the only way I've ever achieved the look is by (shhhhhhh, don't tell on me) sleeping in my eye make up :o
I tend to use black eyeliner around my eyes but then go over the top with gold/bronze eyeshadow (and on the lower lid too) for a smoky effect- it softens the harshness of the black as well so I don't look gothy (bless the goths, some of my friends are, but I don't want to look like one just yet). Have you tried maybe that? Maybe investing in a metallic mono eyeshadow that will complement your eye colour as well- for example, a warm, bright purple for blues/greys/bluey-greens or gold-toned for brown/green/hazel eyes? 17, Dior, Bourjois do some lovely eyeshadows, depending what kind of budget you have.
