Question:
Laura Mercer Primer
Hi All
i bought this at the weekend and was all excited :yay: about using it. So used it on Sat night going out and then again on Sunday. But....
I can't see a difference and am thinking that it was just a waste of money :(
So can someone enlighten me as to his mighty powers (I was expecting my few lines to be less visible and my makeup to last longer) and maybe tell me how to use it. I put it on about 10 mins after my moisturiser and then applied my makeup about 5 mins later.
Thanks.
I was just about to post about this cos I did a search and found nothing!!
Hope you don't mind me hijacking slightly but it makes no sense posting another thread on the same product.
I bought some last week off Ebay and it arrived yest. I haven't used ityet but was hoping it'll come in handy when the weather warms up and will set my foundation better in the heat.
Any usage tips would be appreciated.
Cruncher did you see NO differenvce whatsoever? :( I know I've read rave reviews on here about it before but I can't find any thread now!
No difference at all  It was just like moisturiser. To be honest i didn't know what to expect but expected something!!
Plus there were no instructions so didn't know whether to mix with foundation, leave it to soak in or put makeup on straight away after applying.
I dont think you're meant to see a difference, just that its supposed to be better for your skin to use a primer first to stop pores getting blocked etc.
Personally I think they're a waste of money. I had a LM makeover and she used a primer on me, but I didnt buy it.
I use Laura Mercier primer and don't really see a difference, I was hoping that my foundation would just glide on and look perfect but no! I apply moisturizer, when that's soaked in apply the primer and about 5 mins later apply foundation. Am I doing something wrong or is it just no good?
