Nail Extensions
I've never had nail extensions before and would like to treat myself to some in the next couple of weeks.
Does anybody have any experience/advice with them?
I've only heard of acrylic and 'silk wrap' ones, does anybody know the difference between these? :confused:

I always have gel nails put on mine, at the salon where I go, the gel is cheaper, and looks more natural than acrylic. I have them put white tips on, and the gel they use is pink, and you can see my natural nail underneath. I love them, and they last me ages!

Are they as hardy as acrylic extensions?
It's just one of the main reasons I'm getting extensions is as my natural nails seem to break as soon as they get any length to them - don't know what I do with my hands!!
Am interested in getting nail extensions done as well, as mine grow to a certain length, but start peeling and look awful.
Fluffbunny-may I ask how much gel extensions cost?
