Cleanser, cheap or expensive?
Question:

Cleanser, cheap or expensive?
Im looking for a new cleanser and was wondering whether it was best to go for an cheap one or splash out on a more expensive one. Im curious to see what other peoples views are on this and what recommendations you have. I tend to prefer a cream/lotion type of cleanser. I would say my skintype could be best described as being combination/sensitive if that is possible.
Thanks in advance

I haven't tried that many expensive cleansers, just a clarins one and a dermalogica one and I didn't like either.
I've been more than happy with cheapish cleansers, and am currently using Nivea gentle cleansing cream wash which is lovely. Leaves my skin very clean and moisturised, and I can't really ask more of a cleanser.
I think if you're going to spend lots of money on skin care it should be on things like moisturisers and makeup, things that will actually stay on your skin and do something, cleansers are just washed straight off!

On the more expensive end I've tried trial sizes of Dermalogica, Shisheido and Yonka (sp?) and I far prefer my cheap Garnier Synergie one. I use the pink one and whether my skin is feeling dry or oily (I have eczema and get a bit pimply at that time of the month) it never irritates it and removes all make up. I've also tried other cheap ones including Lush ultrabland but I always go back to the Synergie one.
I'm like Bunnekins. I'd rather spend more on good, protective moisturisers.

How about Liz Earl, cleans and polish? It's on the cheaper side of expensive.
Personally for me it depends how much spare cash I have when I need a new cleanser, atm I am using a clarins one, but if I am skint when that runs out, I may pop into lush or superdrug to get a new one, I am a sucker for trying out the stuff I read about on here, so very rarely stick to the same product twice (except the Liz Earl, which I really like.

I use La Prairie foaming cleanser and I picked it up in Schiphol airport for 38 Euros (when it is 50 in the shops ) :yay:
Some would say it is expensive, but it lasts for absolutely ages, about 6 months and you only need a pea size amount to take off a full face of make up.
I would never use anything else to be honest. Tried Clarins and other brands and nothing suited my skin more than this one.
