Question:
not sure where to put this - piercings
Couldn't think whether piercings would come under fashion or beauty... or none!? So I appologise if this is in the wrong place.
I had my belly button pierced when I was 17, and I kept it pierced until after my son was born when I was 20. It managed to stay in all through my pregnancy as I used one of those special bars.
Anyway my question is... is it possible to have a belly button re-pierced?
Hi there!
Yes it is possible to have your belly button re-pierced.
I originally got mine done in 2004 but when I changed the bar, didnt put it on properly and was forced to take it out.
I got it re-done in June of last year and although it took 6 months to heal fully, I've been fine with it since.
Only thing I would say is go to a piercer who has been recommended to you and get some navel wash - the tattooist/piercer should have some for sale, and it doesnt cost much a couple of quid at the most. The navel wash was a godsend for me and still use it now whenever I am in the bath or shower.

Thanks, think I will pop into the shop in the week and get it done, eek. I didn't know whether to bother or not, I never show my belly and since having my son I have a couple of stretch marks, but it's just one of those things, I have it and know it's there lol, but no one else does.
