Question:
Running out of YSL Touche Eclat - any better alternatives?
I'm running out of YSL Touche Eclat. I don't know whether to repurchase, or to get one of the alternative similar products,
Estee Lauder Ideal Light
Clarins Instant Light Perfecting Touch
Boots No7 Instant Radiance Concealer
Christian Dior Skinflash
Guerlain Precious Light
MAC Studio Lights
Revlon Skinlights Illusion Wand
Lancome Flash Retouche
Clinique Airbrush Concealer
There are so many now I don't know which to get! Can anyone offer any comparisons of any of the above?
I looked at Estee Lauder Ideal Light on the back of my hand next to the YSL, and the EL one looked a lot pinker. I haven't seen any of the others. ISTR a poster saying that the Dior Skinflash ran out quite quickly? And in the past I have tried the TBS Lightening Touch, but it was too "wet" for me, although my skin is drier now.
Mostly I use the Touche Eclat around my eyes, so if anyone's experienced any irritation with the above products do please post.
Any recommendations or warnings will be gratefully received!
I've only tried the No. 7 one. I had a nasty reaction to it (looked like I'd been smacked in the face for several weeks afterwards :p ).
I haven't felt any inclination to try any of the others in case the same happens again. I'm proud of my dark circles and bags....
Armani high precision retouch . Its £18 and as well as given illuminating properties like YSL it conceal's as well. I find the Armani a lot better than YSL,Christian Dior Skinflash, and the revlon and No 7 ones.
I really don't like the clinique one - it looks too heavy.
contrary to the other two I quite liked the No7 one - as it was more yellowy (Touch Eclat is way too pinky for my skin tone, and even duty free seem to have stopped doing the number II Touche Eclat- grrrrr).
That said - I have never ever finished one - I bin them quite often as they get smelly - as I don't really have dark circles (even if i did it's hardly the end of the world....)
I've tried Lancome but personally I would always go back to YSL. Nothing else measures up!
