Question:
eye make up help
hi!
I have small eyes but love their almond shape (often get asked if I have any oriental blood!). I really want to play these up with my make up, but don't have a clue how.
Can anyone help?
Thank you!

Wouldn't shading around the almond shape help? Keeping shadow to the outer parts of your eye and perhaps winging it slightly at the outer corners?
I suppose, sort of a slightly bigger almond outside your actual eye...does that make any sense?! :D
That's what I'm imagining anyway. I always seem to see oriental girls with their eyes made up this way, and it looks great.
Perhaps use colours that aren't too harsh, like deep green, brown, violet etc.
thanks Becka! I'll be trying that out tonight and have a bit of an experiment - I'm usually cr*p with eye make up :o and tend to just resort to lashings of mascara!
This article sounds quite interesting, it has tips for all different eye shapes:

I've never really considered the shape of my eyes before when applying make-up, will try to pay more attention in the future :)
I found this thread on The Fashion Spot helpful for ideas - they've also got some pictures of various different looks:
